Manchester City Erling Haaland has scooped PFA Fans' Player of the Month for December. The superstar continued his fine start to the season by netting four goals last month.
After scoring the opener in the Blues’ 3-2 win over Liverpool in the League Cup, Haaland netted a brace against Leeds and another against Everton.
Those strikes took his tally to 27 for the season already, 21 of which have come in 17 Premier League games. Haaland is firmly on course for the Golden Boot and could break the single-season Premier League record total, achieved by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer.

It’s the third time Haaland has won PFA Fans’ Player of the Month after being bestowed the honour in August and September consecutively.
Haaland arrived at City from Borussia Dortmund during the summer in a deal worth around £51m. Last season, City’s lack of clinical edge from a striker was blamed for their Champions League semi-final defeat to Real Madrid and many believe Haaland has been brought in to help with that need.
While City are being backed to close the gap to Arsenal in the title race, it is also expected Pep Guardiola’s team will go deep into Europe’s biggest competition again, too. Haaland outlined his intention to get his hands on as much silverware as he can at the Etihad, including the Champions League.
"I will try to do everything in my power to win trophies here with Manchester City and to try to be the game changer. My goal is to win the Champions League, hopefully," he told GQ this week.
