Jack Grealish has revealed what he said to Erling Haaland after the Norwegian striker squandered a chance set up for him by his Manchester City teammate.
Haaland has been in brilliant form for the Blues since his summer move from Borussia Dortmund. Before the World Cup break, the Norway international had already notched an impressive 23 goals in just 18 appearances.
The 22-year-old then spent the last month recovering while most of his teammates were in Qatar. Any worries over his fitness were soon put to bed within 10 minutes of City's return against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.

Kevin De Bruyne provided the assist for Haaland to score the opener at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday as the Blues progressed to the quarter-finals. Although it seems like the Norwegian scores with every chance he's presented with, that, of course, is not the case.
Grealish knows that better than anyone and he has told Amazon Prime what he said to his teammate when the forward squandered a chance. He revealed: "I passed him one and he missed.
"I said: 'I need these assists, Erling.'" Grealish has not managed a single assist so far this season. The 27-year-old was speaking to Amazon ahead of Wednesday's return of the Premier League fixtures. City travel to Leeds United hoping to secure three points.
Pep Guardiola's men are currently five points behind Arsenal but still have to play the Gunners twice before the end of the campaign.
