Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has recalled some "amazing" performances from the game against Nottingham Forest last month.
City beat the Reds 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium on August 31, with Haaland bagging a first-half hat-trick and Joao Cancelo plus a Julian Alvarez brace doubling the scoreline come full time.
When asked about his Man City teammates, Haaland pointed to Alvarez's display against Steve Cooper's Reds as an example of the "amazing" teammates he is playing with.

"There’s so many good team-mates at Man City, not only Kevin de Bruyne," said Haaland. "He’s an amazing footballer, but you have so many others that are playing so good and you can see that on the pitch. Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez – you have so many good players. They are so good, there’s a lot of good footballers.
“Julian Alvarez is an amazing footballer, amazing talent. I have to say, he’s good, he reminds me a little bit of Sergio Aguero.
“You saw in the game against Forest, he’s amazing and also that we can play together. This is really important.
“This is something we should be able to do, to play with each other. He’s going to be a good footballer.”
