Man City star Erling Haaland fires two-word response to Arsenal's draw with Southampton

The Premier League title race is set for plenty of twists and turns before the end of the season and there have been many of those over the past three weeks. Arsenal dropped points away at both Liverpool and West Ham in consecutive games, having had a two-goal lead in both.

The game to get things back on trick was against relegation strugglers Southampton, who sat bottom of the league going into proceedings. It seemed certain for a result for the Gunners, but the script was far from what many expected as just 27 seconds in, Carlos Alcaraz capitalised on an Aaron Ramsdale mistake to open the scoring.

Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott then doubled the lead as he went beyond Gabriel to find the back of the net once again. Gabriel Martinelli brought the home side back into the game, The second half didn't provide much relief as Duje Caleta-Car was free at the back post to head home a third.

Late on in the clash, captain Martin Odegaard took things into his own hands and scored an effort from range to pull the game back into reach. Bukayo Saka then drew the team level as he followed up on a parry from Gavin Bazunu, but there wasn't enough time to find a winner.

It leaves the Gunners five points clear at the top, with two games extra played over rivals Man City, though things are still in their hands. After the result was confirmed, City striker Erling Haaland took to social media to post an interestingly timed post with pictures of him smiling.

The tweet reads: "MOOD. STILL." which copied a tweet he posted shortly after the draw with West Ham last Sunday, where he said: "Mood."
