Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has been compared to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard by Owen Hargreaves.
The former Manchester United midfielder believes that Gerrard was the 'perfect midfielder' and De Bruyne is comparable.
Gerrard was Liverpool's heartbeat in the middle of the pitch for over a decade and Hargreaves thinks he could 'do everything'.
Belgian De Bruyne is in a team full of superstars at City, but he is the one who stands out the most in Pep Guardiola 's squad.

City are leading Liverpool by six points in the Premier League title race and are on the verge of qualifying for the last eight in the Champions League.
"He actually reminds me of Stevie G. He can do everything, if you can create a perfect midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, Stevie G it’s them," said Hargreaves on BT Sport.
"They can virtually do everything, step up in moments.
"As good as Manchester City are, he’s probably the best player they have and that says everything about him. He’s a breath of fresh air."
