Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour attended his first game in nearly 13 years as the Citizens defeated Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday night - his first since Roy Hodgson's Liverpool travelled to the Etihad in August 2010
Lining up against Serie A heavyweights, Pep Guardiola's side righted their wrongs from the 2021 final defeat to Chelsea as Rodri's goal in the second half secured a first Champions League triumph and also a remarkable treble.
For the showpiece event at the Ataturk Stadium in Istanbul, Mansour, who bought the club in 2008 for £200m, was in attendance in what was just his second-ever Manchester City game. His first came 13 years ago at the Etihad Stadium as Roberto Mancini's side defeated an underwhelming Liverpool side, managed by Hodgson, 3-0 after goals from Gareth Barry (2) and Carlos Tevez.

On that particular evening in August 2010, the Reds lined up with all of Jame Carragher, Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres in the side. Meanwhile, summer signing Milan Jovanovic and David Ngog started alongside Dirk Kuyt and the Spaniard in attack.
On the bench, Hodgson named Christian Poulsen, who had signed from Juventus earlier that summer, alongside Brad Jones, Dani Pacheco, Sotirios Kyrgiakos, Maxi Rodriguez and Ryan Babel.
For Mancini's men, James Milner lined up central midfielder alongside Yay Toure and Barry. Five years later, the midfielder would swap the Etihad for Anfield and play an instrumental role during his eight-year stay as Liverpool won the Premier League and Champions League in consecutive seasons.
