Rodri says Manchester City are not paying any attention to Premier League title rivals Arsenal and instead are just focussing on winning games.
City continued to apply pressure onto the league leaders by hammering relegation strugglers Southampton 4-1 on Saturday. That saw the gap at the top close to five points, with Pep Guardiola's side still holding a game in hand, ahead of Arsenal's fixture against Liverpool.
The Gunners have been relentless in the face of City's growing form but finally buckled at Anfield. They took a two-goal lead but ended up escaping through the skin of their teeth as Liverpool brought it back to 2-2 and only didn't win due to Aaron Ramsdale's amazing saves. Their lead is up to six points but it has put the title race into City's hands. However, Rodri insists the team aren't giving their rivals much thought.

"We know what we have to do to win the Premier League," the Spaniard said. "We have to win every single game until the end. We’re not looking at what Arsenal do, we’re focused on ourselves. If we are able to fight until the end and win every single game, we will have a chance."
After a difficult start to 2023, City have returned to their blistering best in recent weeks and have scored a remarkable 21 goals in their last four matches. Erling Haaland made a welcome return against Southampton and grabbed two goals, including a spectacular overhead kick.
Rodri has moved to praise the striker as well as Jack Grealish, who is showing his best form since making his big-money move to the Etihad. “"n terms of goals, he’s [Haaland] been a beast this season," he said. "He does a lot - we have pace and a lot of danger in the area. He’s a special guy. These kinds of players can make the difference at any time. He has the ability and talent to do this."
On Grealish, Rodri added: "He’s in a big moment right now. He’s making another step forward with assists and goals which is great for the team."
