Man City leaked new home kit for 2021/22 spotted in shop

Manchester City are yet to reveal their home kit ahead of the 2021/22 season, however it has been spotted by eagle-eyed fans in a store in Australia.

The new kit will be designed by Puma yet again after City made the switch from Nike two summers ago.

Reportedly the pattern on the shirt will pay homage to the tenth anniversary of Sergio Aguero 's iconic last-gasp City goal against Queens Park Rangers.

An image for the kit's promotion was believed to have been leaked earlier this year showing Kevin De Bruyne in the new City strip.

And those rumours may have even more credence after a City fan spotted the shirts on sale in Melbourne.

Initially, fans were not happy with the shade of blue that the kit appeared to have when images of Kevin De Bruyne were leaked in the new strip.

However, based on the latest picture, the kit does seem to be the light blue shade City fans have come to expect in tradition with the club.

Whether Puma designers altered the design after backlash or whether the previous leaked image merely appeared darker due to lighting remains to be seen once the kits are confirmed.

Details for the away kits have also been leaked via Footy Headlines and those appear to be far more extravagant.

Especially City's rumoured third kit which will not have the club's badge on it.

Instead it will feature a centred logo with the letters: Man City scrawled across the chest.

Opinion is certain to split the fans on that one.

With so many leaks and images of the new shirt, an announcement should be imminent on the club's site and will likely come as City begin their pre-season preparation ahead of the new Premier League season.
