Man City 'leading the race' for Marc Cucurella and other transfer rumours

Manchester City are still reportedly 'leading the race' for the signing of Marc Cucurella.

The Brighton and Hove Albion full-back made a big impression on the Premier League last season with the Spaniard making 39 appearances for Graham Potter's men. The Seagulls, however, seem intent on putting up a fight to keep their defender.

Reports have suggested £30m would be enough for City to complete the signing of the ex-Getafe man. The Athletic claims that although Brighton will be battling hard to keep him, the Blues are still leading the way when it comes to getting the transfer done.

Elsewhere, it is claimed that although there has been late interest from Tottenham Hotspur for Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal are 'very close' to completing a deal for the City forward. According to Calciomercato, the uncertainty surrounding Jesus' future has caught the attention of 'four other top sides' - one of which is Spurs.

However, they believe that the Brazilian is firmly set on heading to the Emirates Stadium, especially now Alexandre Lacazette has left the Gunners. Between £50m-60m will reportedly be enough to secure Jesus' services.
