Manchester City have reportedly joined the race for Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez, with Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool also said to be keen on the player.
According to Portuguese newspaper Record, the Blues would need to pay £105million to secure the 21-year-old's signature. It adds that City have sent scouts to watch the Argentine in Champions League action in recent weeks.
Fernandez, whose contract runs until June 2027, has registered three goals and four assists in 22 appearances for Benfica in all competitions.

It is reported that United are 'crazy' about the young midfielder, but City could decide to make a move for the player next year with Ilkay Gundogan potentially leaving the club at the end of the season.
Elsewhere, former AC Milan sports director Danilo Pagni has claimed that he advised the Italian giants to have a look at current City star Jack Grealish.
"When I went to see Ajax, I sent the video to Fabio Liverani to discuss the player, he’s a friend and I also trust his judgment. Then someone said he wasn’t worthy of Milan," he said.
"I also liked Jack Grealish a lot. When I went to see Aston Villa I didn’t even get back to the hotel before I wrote to Milan, stating he must be signed immediately."
