Manchester City will have to battle with Chelsea and Real Madrid for the signing of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, with reports suggesting that it will cost any club €120 million to recruit the player from RB Leipzig.
According to GOAL, the 23-year-old, who signed a one-year renewal with Leipzig in the summer, which will keep him at the club until 2027, is a target for both Premier League clubs - especially after his impressive performances for his country at the World Cup in Qatar.
However, it is thought that the centre-back is now keen on a move away from the German club, with Alfredo Pedulla adding that Madrid have met with Leipzig on two occasions in recent weeks, and that they are prepared to pay €120 million for the player.

Gvardiol is expected to depart in either January or the summer, but for now, he is preparing to return to competitive action with Leipzig against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga on January 20.
Elsewhere, Football Insider has reported that City could be offered the chance to sign West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice in the summer in a player-plus-cash deal.
The report claims that the Hammers would be open to swapping the Rice for his international teammate Kalvin Phillips, plus a cash sum. Rice is out of contract at the London Stadium in 2024 and is thought to be keen on a move to a club competing in the Champions League.
Phillips only joined the Blues last summer, but he has only featured on five occasions since signing for Pep Guardiola's side. It is added that the Irons are big admirers of the 27-year-old midfielder, with the London club having made a bid for the player in January 2022.
Rice, who captains West Ham, has also been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent years, but Graham Potter's side are currently looking to sign Enzo Fernandez.
