Tottenham are set to face yet another difficult challenge in the Premier League as they travel to the Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City. Spurs suffered a setback in the race for a top four spot as they tasted defeat in the North London Derby at the weekend.
Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski returned from injury in the 2-0 loss against Arsenal with Rodrigo Bentancur expected to be in contention to play against City. Spurs now sit five points adrift of the top four with Antonio Conte expressing concerns over how his side are playing recently.
Pep Guardiola was dealt a blow in the title race as City lost against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford, despite Marcus Rashford's winner causing plenty of controversy. Tottenham got the better of City on their own turf last term and Conte will be hoping for a similar result on Thursday night to get Spurs back in touching distance of the top four.

Guardiola has given an update on his squad's fitness ahead of the match against the Lilywhites, with three key players all set to return for the Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium. When asked whether Kevin De Bruyne will be ready for the game against Spurs, Guardiola responded: "It was a personal issue, he could not train [on De Bruyne missing training on Tuesday].
"Today, he is back. Yeah, yeah [on if De Bruyne is available for selection]."
When asked about the fitness of John Stones and Ruben Dias, Guardiola revealed that the defensive duo will be back having taken part in training this week. The City boss said: "Yeah, they are back.
"The last two training sessions they have taken part in, really well. They are in contention."
This will come as a blow to Spurs to see City's squad returning to full strength ahead of their crunch match tomorrow evening.
