Man City handed Declan Rice 'boost', Kyle Walker transfer interest and more rumours

West Ham United are encouraged by Manchester City's interest in Declan Rice after rejecting a first offer from Arsenal.

The England international looks set to leave the London Stadium this summer. The Gunners have seen an £80million bid rejected for Rice but are expected to return with further offers, according to Football.London.

It's reported that the structure of the deal, as well as the overall fee, was not acceptable to West Ham. Arsenal offered £80m to be paid over six years, with £10m in potential add-ons.

Manchester City's interest could drive up the price for the Hammers, who are resigned to losing their captain. Guardiola has held interest in Rice and with Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva's futures uncertain, they could make their move.

Elsewhere, Kyle Walker has again been linked with a move to his hometown club, Sheffield United. The England defender wants to return to the Blades before the end of his playing career.

According to talkSPORT, Walker is weighing up his options with interest from Sheffield United and Saudi Arabia. The 33-year-old has one year left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium and was left out of the starting team for the UEFA Champions League final.
