Man City great Sergio Aguero has his say on Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard or Frank Lampard debate

Sergio Aguero has had his say on who he thinks was the better player out of Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.

The former England internationals are often the subject of intense debate between football fans.

Manchester United legend Scholes won an astonishing 11 Premier League titles at United. The English top-flight crown eluded Gerrard throughout his career, though he did win the Champions League in 2005.

Lampard won three Premier League titles with Chelsea before going on to play alongside Aguero at Manchester City, scoring eight goals in 38 outings.

During a Twitter Q&A Aguero was asked by one of his followers who he believed to be the better player out of Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard, and it was perhaps no surprise who he chose.

The former City man simply replied: "Lampard."

The Everton boss clearly made quite the impression on the Argentinian frontman during his short time at the Etihad Stadium.
