Manchester City have 'expressed an interest' in Bayern Munich's Benjamin Pavard amid uncertainty over the right-back's long-term future, according to reports.
Pavard's future at Bayern has been the subject of recent speculation, with the 27-year-old set to enter the final 12 months of his current contract this summer. Thomas Tuchel's side have attempted to open fresh talks, but approaches have been met with resistance as the player is set to weigh up his options at the end of the season.
The Frenchman confirmed this week that there are 'currently no talks with the club' as he focuses on his football, and 90min reports that City are among three of Europe's top teams - along with Manchester United and Real Madrid - who have asked to be kept in the loop regarding any decisions.

Pep Guardiola's side currently have Joao Cancelo on loan at Bayern and have been in regular contact with the Bavarian club regarding the future of their player. An option for them to make the loan permanent suggests City's willingness to sell this summer, with full-back an area in which investment is needed at the Etihad.
Elsewhere, Foot Mercato reports that City are interested in Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy.
Guardiola is expected to prioritise both full-back positions this summer, hence links to Pavard, with Cancelo likely to be sold and no natural left-back in the first-team squad - albeit Nathan Ake has done an admirable job.
Mendy had been a regular feature of Madrid's season prior to the World Cup, before an injury in a game against Atletico Madrid at the end of January kept him out for nearly two months. The French international managed just 29 minutes off the bench against Barcelona before another injury, for which he is still sidelined.
This recent run of injuries is said to have concerned those in charge at the Bernabeu, with the 27-year-old potentially allowed to look elsewhere this summer despite being contracted until 2025. Any interest from City will likely face competition, with Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain having already been linked with the defender.
