Manchester City defender Issa Kabore is being targeted by newly-promoted Nottingham Forest.
Forest secured their place in the Premier League last weekend when they beat Huddersfield Town 1-0 to reach the footballing promise land. With their top-flight status confirmed, Reds boss Steve Cooper is now setting his sights on improving his squad.
Nottinghamshire Live reports that Kabore has been highlighted as an alternative to Djed Spence. Kabore spent last season on loan at Troyes in Ligue 1 but it was at the Africa Cup of Nations where he really made a name for himself.

Representing Burkina Faso, Kabore won the Young Player of the Tournament award and helped his side reach the semi-finals of the prestigious competition. Due to City's impressive right-back options, it is likely that another loan move is in the offing for Kabore.
A move to the City Ground could appeal to both the player and Pep Guardiola. Cooper has previous when it comes to nurturing youth, having managed a number of England's youth sides before helping to develop Manchester United's James Garner last season.
