Manchester City have secured the future of another highly-rated youngster, as defender Callum Doyle has signed a new contract today.
Doyle, 19, has looked good in the EFL over the last two seasons, first winning promotion from League One with Sunderland last term, before establishing himself as a key part of Coventry's defence since joining the Sky Blues in the summer.
The centre-back, who has won the under-18 Premier League and the Premier League 2 as an academy player at City, has now signed a four-year contract at the Etihad.

After proving himself at academy level with City, Doyle joined Sunderland last summer as a 17-year-old and played 44 times for the Black Cats as they finally ended their League One stay with a play-off final win last May.
Making the step up this season, Doyle has missed just three Championship games since moving to Coventry, with 22 appearances to his name so far.
Previously out of contract in 2024, Doyle will now remain a City player until 2027, and there is an option for the club to extend for a further year until 2028.
Doyle has now joined the likes of Finley Burns and Shea Charles in penning a deal until 2027, and Oscar Bobb who has a deal until 2026. Also out on loan in the Championship this season are midfielders Tommy Doyle and James McAtee at Sheffield United and striker Liam Delap, who has just swapped Stoke for Preston.
Tommy Doyle's City contract runs until 2025, while McAtee and Delap have deals until 2026. Josh-Wilson Esbrand, who has just joined Callum Doyle at Coventry, is another whose contract expires in 2027.
