Manchester City's Premier League fixture with Liverpool has been designated as a 'high-risk' game and the visitors have had their ticket allocation cut as a result.
City host Liverpool at the Etihad on Sunday, April 10 at 4.30pm with the fixture set to have a key role in the title race. City lead Liverpool at the top of the table by a point with just nine games to go, so if either team can win the game they will consider themselves favourites for the title.
With plenty on the line on the pitch, it appears that the Safety Advisory Group in charge of the fixture is preparing for what could happen off it as they have cut Liverpool's away ticket allocation by just under 150.

A statement on Liverpool's website read: "Manchester City vs Liverpool has been designated as a high-risk fixture by the local Safety Advisory Group and as a result, the allocation of tickets available to Liverpool supporters has been automatically reduced.
"This allocation is consistent with other fixtures that have been designated as high risk by the local Safety Advisory Group."
The Liverpool Echo notes that Liverpool fans were allocated 3028 for their last trip to the Etihad in January 2019, with the subsequent two clashes in Manchester played behind closed doors. The allocation for this season's meeting is 2880, a reduction of 148.
