Manchester City are through to the Champions League semi-finals thanks to a 4-1 aggregate victory over Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
Pep Guardiola's side booked their place in the next round following a 1-1 draw in the Allianz Arena in Munich. A frantic first half finished 0-0 after Dayot Upamecano had a red card reprieve when Erling Haalnd was ruled offside in the build-up to the controversial incident, before the Norwegian forward missed a penalty.
But there were no surprises when Haaland eventually put City ahead in the second half after driving at the Bayern defence before finishing emphatically. Joshua Kimmich then equalised from the penalty spot for the hosts after Manuel Akanji was harshly penalised for handball.
