Man City and Manchester United stars party at Calvin Harris' Ibiza concert

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford joined Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Nathan Ake at Calvin Harris' Ibiza concert this weekend.

A well-known Liverpool supporter, Harris took to the stage on Friday night at the iconic Ushuaia club where he is currently performing this summer. During his set, the Scottish DJ welcomed Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk to the stage to a rapturous reception from the crowd.

Post-gig it became clear the Dutch defender was not the only Premier League footballer in attendance this weekend. Harris took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon to post content from the concert which included a photo with the Premier League quartet backstage. Harris captioned the post: "A massive Friday night at Ushuaia."

Rashford was in attendance ahead of his return to Carrington. Several of United's squad have joined Erik ten Hag at United's training complex this week, including new signing Mason Mount who joined from Chelsea on Wednesday. Ake and De Bruyne have been pictured with Van Dijk previously with the former being good friends with the Liverpool man thanks to their time together in the Dutch national team.

City begin their pre-season campaign in two weeks time when they travel to Japan for their tour. While in Asia they will face Yokohama Marinos, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid before returning to England to face Arsenal in the Community Shield.

United's pre-season begins much sooner as they face rivals Leeds United next Wednesday. This will be followed by a clash with Lyon a week later before heading to the US for matches against Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. On the last weekend before the season begins, United will split their squad in half with one side facing Lens and the other taking on Athletic Bilbao.
