Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has vowed to do 'everything in his power' to help the Blues win the Champions League during his time at the Etihad.
The Blues have never won the Champions League and are desperate to lift the trophy this season. Pep Guardiola's side have reached the semi-final and final in the past two seasons, but have not yet been able to take the final step and triumph in Europe's showpiece event.
Last season, Guardiola's men secured a 4-3 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of their semi-final clash. However, in the second leg, Los Blancos scored twice in the dying seconds of normal time to take the tie to extra time, before Karim Benzema scored a winning goal for Madrid in the 95th minute.

In the 2020/21 campaign, the Blues reached the Champions League final, but lost 1-0 to Premier League rivals Chelsea after Kai Havertz scored the only goal of the game late in the first half.
While City have won countless domestic trophies in recent seasons, the team's mentality in Europe has come under question in the past few years. However, Haaland - who arrived at the Etihad from Borussia Dortmund in the summer - believes that there is a different reason for the Blues' struggles in the Champions League.
Asked if City have lacked something mentally at crucial moments, Haaland told GQ: "Honestly, I don’t think so. Sometimes, like the game against Real Madrid last year, when you see the goal Rodrygo scores – where Asensio heads the ball and misses it, and it hits Rodrygo’s leg and goes in the goal – sometimes I think actually there is a God up there who decides these things.
"This mentality kind of thing, Madrid knowing that they’ve won it before? I don’t know if that’s a thing. Maybe."
The 22-year-old Norwegian striker, who has scored 28 goals in 23 Champions League matches during his career so far, went on to insist that he would do whatever it takes to help City end their European quest - admitting that it was his goal to lift the Champions League trophy.
"I will try to do everything in my power to win trophies here with Manchester City and to try to be the game changer," he said. "My goal is to win the Champions League, hopefully."
Guardiola's side take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League Round of 16, with the Blues travelling to Germany for the first leg on February 22, before hosting the Bundesliga outfit on March 14 in the second leg.
