Man charged with 'voyeurism' at Taylor Swift's Edinburgh gig

A MAN has been charged with alleged voyeurism on the second night of Taylor Swift’s concerts in Edinburgh.

The US singer brought her Eras Tour to Edinburgh with around 220,000 Swifties descending on the capital for the big event.

Police have confirmed there was just one arrest over the weekend, during Saturday’s show.

Superintendent David Happs said: “A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with voyeurism within Murrayfield during the event on Saturday, June 8.

“He was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”

Following the final show on Sunday night, Swift took to Instagram to thank fans who had headed to Murrayfield.

“Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend,” she said.

“Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland three times in a row and for all the ways you made us feel right at home.

“Love you, all 220,000 of you.”
