A man faces a murder charge a week after a woman's body was found in suspicious circumstances in Adelaide.
The man, who was known to the alleged victim, was charged and faced court at Port Augusta, north of the capital, on Wednesday.
He will remain behind bars until his next court appearance in April.
Police were called to St Margarets Crescent in Felixstow in Adelaide's east about 1.30pm on November 15 to find a 44-year-old woman dead inside a home.
She is believed to have lived at the unit.
Detectives from the remote APY Lands arrested a 50-year-old Felixstow man in the state's far north about 2.40pm on Tuesday.
Since the woman's death, three other women have allegedly been murdered in South Australia, including Jodie Jewell, who was fatally shot by her husband Kevin on Tuesday, police said.
Kevin Jewell remains armed and at large.
