A 47-year-old man has been charged with murdering Bribie Island woman Janet Guthrie.

Ms Guthrie, 51, was found dead by police in her home in Bongaree just before 9pm last Thursday, February 16.

The accused was found by police at South Caboolture the next morning.

Police will allege the man and Ms Guthrie knew each other.

The man, from Caboolture, has been charged with murder (domestic violence) and other charges including enter dwelling with intent and robbery.

He is expected to appear before Caboolture Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police are still appealing for CCTV or dashcam footage of a 2000 White Isuzu truck utility with Queensland registration 170ZBA on February 15, the night before Ms Guthrie's death.

The vehicle was seen at Bongaree around 5pm on February 15 and later at the Aldi store at Bribie Island.

Later in the evening it travelled to the mainland and was sighted at Beachmere and Margate.

Police are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of this vehicle from on February 15 and 16 to come forward. (Supplied: Queensland Police Service)
