A man has been charged with murder after a 55-year-old man was stabbed in Finchley.
Nicholas Sutin was found with stab wounds to the neck on Ballards Lane just after 4am last Friday.
Police officers and the London Ambulance Service attended but, despite the efforts of medics, he died at the scene.
A post-mortem examination carried out at Northwick Park Hospital Mortuary on Saturday gave the cause of death as head injuries and a stab wound to the neck.
Jermaine Myers, 36, was arrested on Saturday evening and has been charged with his murder.
He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a pointed/bladed article.
Myers will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A 40-year-old man was earlier arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed to a date in late June.
