A shocking discovery in a Brooklyn apartment has led to the arrest of a New York City man on charges of murder, robbery, concealment of a human corpse, and tampering with evidence. Nicolas McGee, 45, was taken into custody following the finding of human body parts, including a head, in the refrigerator of the apartment he shared with Heather Stines, 45.

The remains were identified as those of 40-year-old Kawsheen Gelzer, whose body was found in multiple black bags inside the refrigerator and freezer during a wellness check requested at the apartment on January 22. Medical examiners were able to confirm Gelzer's identity through fingerprints.

Details surrounding Gelzer's death, including the circumstances and timeline of the murder, have not been disclosed by the police at this time. McGee was set to appear in court on Friday, although information about his legal representation was not available in online court records or from the district attorney's office.

This disturbing case has shocked the local community and raised questions about the events leading up to Gelzer's tragic death. Authorities continue to investigate the matter to uncover more information about the motive and events that transpired in the Brooklyn apartment.
