A man has been charged with murder after being extradited from Sweden over a fight in east London in 2022.
Sabajet Shuti, 30, was charged on Saturday morning with murder, violent disorder and possession of a knife.
He was charged in relation to the death of Zeqja Lumturi, 27, who was found seriously injured alongside another man in his 20s in Church Lane, Leytonstone, on October 16 2022.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called at around 11pm but Mr Lumturi died at the scene.
Shuti appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Saturday, where he was also charged with causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the second man.
He will next appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
