Man charged over World Cup burglary of Raheem Sterling’s Surrey home

A man has been charged over the burglary of footballer Raheem Sterling’s home while he was representing England at last year’s World Cup.

Emiliano Krosi, 23, of Ditton Court Road, Southend-on-Sea, has been charged with 33 offences of conspiracy to commit burglary, Surrey Police confirmed on Wednesday.

He has been remanded in custody, and is set to appear at Guildford Crown Court on September 21.

A Surrey Police spokesperson confirmed one of the offences Krosi has been charged with relates to a burglary at an address in Oxshott, Leatherhead, which was reported to the force on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

Chelsea star Sterling flew home from the World Cup in Qatar after his Oxshott mansion was raided on December 3.

The player’s fiancée Paige Millian, 27 — who was looking after their two children — is understood to have raised the alarm after noticing watches and jewellery were missing.
