A man has been charged with murdering a woman in her central Victorian home.
The 46-year-old was found unresponsive in a Kangaroo Flat property, south of Bendigo, just before midnight on Sunday.
She was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
The woman's two primary school aged children were in the home at the time but were not physically injured.
A 44-year-old Junortoun man was arrested at a reservoir in Harcourt North about 5am on Monday, with police air-wing assisting officers on the ground.
He was on Tuesday charged with the woman's murder.
The man was remanded in custody to face Bendigo Magistrates Court on Thursday.
