A man has been charged nearly a year after the death of a pensioner who was cycling on a Scots road.
The horror crash took place at around 5.45pm on Monday August 23, 2021, on the A85 near Crianlarich, Stirling.
The 74-year-old man was cycling westbound on the road when it is thought he collided with a Scania R450 lorry.
Emergency crews raced to the scene but the biker was pronounced dead upon arrival.
At the time, cops closed the road for eight hours while a probe took place.
Now, officers have confirmed a 57-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
