A man has been charged in connection with the death of Aimee Jane Cannon.
We told how the 26-year-old was allegedly found with a number of serious injuries at a property in Learmonth Crescent in West Calder, West Lothian on Saturday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 6.30pm.
Officers soon launched an investigation into an alleged "brutal attack".
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, police revealed at a 25-year-old man had been arrested following Aimee's death.
On Tuesday night, West Lothian cops confirmed that a 25-year-old man had been charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland e said: "A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of 26-year-old Aimee Jane Cannon in West Calder.
"Aimee was found with a number of serious injuries at a property on Learmonth Crescent around 6.35pm on Saturday, May 7.
"The man is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday, May 11."
