A man has been charged in relation to a house fire that claimed the life of a woman in her 40s in Dublin.
The man aged in his 50s was arrested by gardaí at Clontarf investigating the fatal house fire which occurred on Howth Road, Clontarf on December 15, 2022.
The man has been charged and is due before a sitting of Dublin District Court this morning.

Gardaí and firefighters rushed to the scene on December 15 when the alarm was raised but couldn't save the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Garda statement today confirmed: "A man aged in his 50s arrested by Gardaí at Clontarf investigating a fatal house fire which occurred on Howth Road, Clontarf on the 15th of December 2022 has now been charged.
He is expected to appear before a sitting of Dublin District Court, (Criminal Courts of Justice No. 2) this morning, 18th March, 2023."
