Man charged after 18-year-old stabbed on Ealing bus in horror afternoon attack

A man has been charged with stabbing an 18-year-old on a bus in Ealing in a horror attack in the mid-afternoon. 

An 18-year-old instigator allegedly stabbed the male victim at around 4.15pm on Tuesday on a bus on Mandeville Road, near Northolt station in south-west London.

The man who was stabbed was treated in hospital and his injuries have been assessed as not life-threatening.

Jayden Patterson, of Ayles Road, Hayes, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent to do serious harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 15-year-old boy has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Patterson appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday and will next appear in custody at Isleworth Crown Court on July 19.
