Gardai are investigating after a man was allegedly bundled into a car during an attempted kidnapping in north Dublin this morning.
It's understood the man was approached outside retail units in the Northern Cross area of the Malahide Road in Dublin 17 shortly after 10am. Fortunately he was able to escape unharmed following the early morning ordeal.
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live no arrests have been made with investigations into the incident continuing.

He said: "Gardaí are investigating an attempted false imprisonment of a male in the Northern Cross area, Dublin 17 that occurred at approximately 10:10am this morning, Wednesday 2 November 2022. No arrests have been made at this time. Investigations are ongoing."
