A Dublin-based man was left baffled after a homeowner went on a bizarre rant over a Facebook post at a house viewing.
Raman Nara, who has been working in Dublin for the last seven years, said he had posted on a Facebook group for Indian immigrants looking for temporary accommodation.
In his post, he mentioned that he preferred not to share a place with couples due to a few negative experiences in the past.

He told Dublin Live: "This man got in touch with me saying he had a room for €500 plus bills. He tried calling me through Facebook but my mic wasn't working so we couldn't speak.
"But I sent him my number and he sent me his Eircode."
The man said that he lived in a town outside Dublin so Raman and a friend drove to meet him there on Saturday.
Raman said the man texted him saying he was going to be late so they pushed the viewing time back by an hour.
He said: "During the viewing, he gave me a list of conditions like he wanted €500 for rent and another €500 for a deposit in cash. He said that he only took cash. He also asked me for my passport and visa."
The three of them were standing in the garden when the conversation took a sudden turn.
He said: "Then the drama started. He confronted me about my Facebook post.
"He said, ‘If I was that couple, I would’ve pulled out of the house by your throat and I would have beat you in your face and mouth until blood came out of your mouth’.
"It was so shocking it took me two minutes to process the whole thing. I said, ‘Look, it’s just my opinion. You have no right to tell me what I should and shouldn’t do'."
But things took an even weirder turn when the furious man went on a rant about his previous job.
A baffled Raman said: "He ranted about how he was a manager or a customer service representative and he said he used to deal with people like me."
Raman believes that he would've been physically attacked had he not brought his friend to the viewing.
He said: "Asking a person to drive all the way to him. He asked me to wait for another hour and wasted my time.
"And then just showed me the house for a few minutes as a formality. He then said all these things. I definitely think he would have tried something if my friend wasn't there."
Raman said the whole incident was so weird it took him a couple of days to process what had happened.
He has since filed a complaint with the gardai.
Dublin Live has contacted the gardai for a comment.
