A man disguised in a hat and scarf stormed a bank in Busan, South Korea, armed with what appeared to be a gun. Within moments, chaos turned to confusion as his "weapon" was nothing more than a toy dinosaur water gun.
Busan Gijang Police confirmed the arrest of the suspect, identified only as "A," Monday.
He entered the bank at 10:58 a.m., demanding cash while instructing customers to "get on their knees." Wrapped in a plastic bag, the toy gun initially appeared threatening, per police.
"The customers and bank employees who came to conduct business subdued A after a scuffle," police said per local news. "A was arrested just two minutes after entering the bank."
The suspect reportedly had prepared a duffle bag and demanded bank staff fill it with 50,000 won bills.
Authorities are now investigating motive for the bizarre crime.
