A man arrived at a Glasgow hospital with serious injuries following an attempted murder in Merchant City.
The 34-year-old victim arrived at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at around 8.20pm yesterday (December 21) where he was admitted for treatment to his injuries.
It was reported that the man was assaulted on Glassford Street, between Wilson Street and Trongate, at around 1am on Sunday, 18 December, 2022.

Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward to help with their investigation.
Detective Sergeant Donna McDougall, of Glasgow CID, said: “A man has been left with serious injuries and it is vital we trace whoever is responsible.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident, or noticed anything at all suspicious, to come forward.
"This area was busy with people out socialising and we are particularly keen to speak to people who were in the Merchant City area around this time.
"Anyone with any relevant dash-cam or CCTV footage who has not spoken to police yet, is urged to contact officers.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3172 of Wednesday, 21 December, 2022.
