A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of nine-year-old schoolgirl Olivia Pratt-Korbel.
Merseyside Police confirmed a 34-year-old man from Dovecot on suspicion of the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel. He has been taken to a police station where he will be questioned by detectives.
The schoolgirl was at home with her mum, Cheryl, on August 22 when a man ran into their family home being chased by a gunman. The gunman shot Olivia and she died in Alder Hey Children's Hospital a short time later.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "The investigation into Olivia’s murder is ongoing and we continue to appeal for people with information to come forward to assist us in bringing those responsible to justice."
This is the tenth arrest in the murder probe. No one has yet been charged with the little girl's death.
