A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of Eddie Hutch.
Hutch was shot dead at Poplar Row in Ballybough on February 8, 2016. Hutch was the brother of Gerry "The Monk" Hutch. Gardai arrested a man aged in his 40s this morning.
He is currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at a Garda Station in North Dublin. A garda spokeswoman said investigations are ongoing.

Hutch's killing is believed to have been in retaliation for the Regency Hotel shooting where Kinahan man David Byrne was shot dead.
