An adult male has been arrested in connection with a brush fire that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in San Bernardino. The fire, known as the Little Mountain Fire, broke out around 2 p.m. local time and was swiftly responded to by fire crews.
The San Bernardino Police Department reported that the fire, which spread rapidly, was contained at 34 acres with no injuries or damages reported. Following an investigation, the suspect was arrested on two felony charges, one of which was reckless burning. The identity of the suspect has not been revealed at this time.
As a result of the fire, a hard road closure has been implemented on Little Mountain Drive from Edgehill to Sheridan Road. First responders remain at the scene to ensure the situation is under control.
