A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of another man in the face in Clondalkin.
The shooting happened at around 5pm on Friday in Cherrywood Grove.
The victim, aged in his 20's, was shot in the face and was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where his injuries were found not to be life threatening.

The man, in his 30s, was arrested this afternoon, and is currently being held at Clondalkin Garda Station.
A short garda statement read: "Gardai investigating the shooting incident in Cherrywood Grove, Clondalkin on the evening of Friday, 8th April 2022 have arrested one man.
"The man, aged in his 30s, was arrested this afternoon Monday, 11th April 2022. He is currently detained in Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
"Investigations are ongoing."
