A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal assault that took place in Newbridge in March.
Gardai arrested the man, aged in his 30s, yesterday in connection to the investigation. He is currently being detained at a Garda station in Co Kildare.
A man, aged in his 40s, was discovered outside a property in Piercetown, Co Kildare last month having sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to Naas General Hospital but was later pronounced dead.
A man was previously arrested in connection to the assault but was subsequently released without charge.
Investigations remain ongoing.
