A man has been arrested in connection with alleged homophobic abuse at the city's biggest train station.
The incident took place on Wednesday September 28 when a male couple were reportedly subject to comments while travelling through Edinburgh Waverley Station.

The individuals reported the alleged abuse by texting the British Transport Police with officers racing to the train station where they arrested a man.
Police have warned that officers will never tolerate hate crime on the railway.
The British Transport Police team said: "Last night two men texted 61016 to report a man who subjected them to homophobic abuse.
"Officers quickly attended Edinburgh Waverley station, located the man & arrested him in connection. We will never tolerate hate crime on the railway."
Adding: "Everyone has the right to travel safely, and no one should be targeted with harassment because of who they are. If you're a victim of, or witness to, a hate crime, we urge you to report it to us. Either text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40."
