Man arrested and charged after woman robbed in Dumbarton Road house raid

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Glasgow's west end.

The incident occurred on Dumbarton Road at around 5.25pm on Sunday, May 3 when a 48-year-old woman was robbed in her home. Officers said she was left uninjured in the incident, but is "very distressed".

Police Scotland had previously issued an appeal to find the suspects following the incident.

Now, Police Scotland have confirmed a 21-year-old man is due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow (Thursday, June 25) in connection with the incident.

Police enquiries into the incident remain ongoing following the arrest and a full report is to be sent to the procurator fiscal.
