A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a 'disturbance' in Failsworth.
Emergency services were called to Miriam Street late last night (Sunday July 10) after the incident involving two men.
Manchester Evening News understands that the incident was domestic in nature. Photographs from the scene show the street taped off with blood on the ground within the cordon.

One man was arrested on suspicion of assault and a second was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) confirmed.
A GMP spokesman said: "At around 10.55pm on Sunday 10 July 2022, we received a report of a disturbance involving two males on Miriam Street, Failsworth.
"One male was arrested on suspicion of assault. A second male was taken to hospital. His injuries are not life threatening."
