A man has been arrested following a suspected assault in Belfast's Dublin Road area.
The 27-year-old was held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm by the PSNI following an incident on Saturday night.
Following an altercation, the alleged victim fell and sustained a head injury.
A PSNI statement said: "Police investigating an assault which occurred at the Dublin Road area of Belfast on Saturday May 28, have arrested a man."
Sergeant Ellison added: “The 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and he remains in custody at this time.
“Enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed it, or who may have any information which could assist, to call 101 and quote reference number 2018 of 28/05/22.
