A man has been arrested after gardai seized drugs and cash from a home in west Dublin.

Officers discovered €325,000 of cocaine, €3,575 in cash, and other drug paraphernalia during the search of a residential property on Wednesday afternoon. The five kilograms of cocaine and other items were found at a home in Ashfield Court in Mulhuddart.

The man, in his 20s, is currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Blanchardstown Garda station. A garda spokesman said: "Investigations are ongoing."
