Man arrested after cash and belongings stolen from Finglas business in early morning robbery

A business in Finglas had cash and belongings stolen during a robbery this morning.

The robbery happened on the Main Street of the town at around 7:55am.

Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene but thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

Officers arrested a man in his 20's in relation to the robbery and he is being held at Finglas garda station.

A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of a robbery that took place in a premises on Main Street, Finglas, Co Dublin at approximately 7:55am this morning, 4 May 2022.

"A number of belongings and a sum of cash were taken in the course of this incident. No injuries were reported.

"One man aged in his 20s was arrested in relation to this incident and is currently being held in Finglas Garda Station."
