A man was arrested last night in connection with a collision between a car and at least one pedestrian at an anti-immigration protest in Dublin's city centre.
The incident, footage of which has been shared widely on social media, took place in the Seville Place area of Dublin 1 at approximately 7.30pm on Wednesday night.
An anti-immigration protest was taking place in the area at the time of the collision, which is now being investigated by Gardai.

One man and one woman were taken to hospital as a result of their injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening, while a man in his 30s was being held at a Garda station in North Dublin last night.
The man has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed to the Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances surrounding a road traffic collision that occurred in Seville Place, Dublin 1 this evening Wednesday 15th February 2023.
"One male was taken to hospital.
"A male (aged in his 30s) was arrested and is currently detained in a Garda station in North Dublin."
A subsequent update from An Garda Siochana confirmed that: "One female was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
"A male (aged in his 30s) was arrested at the scene. He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10:30am this morning, Thursday 16th February, 2023."
