A man was arrested after armed police were called out to an incident in St Helens.
Armed officers were called out to Hard Lane this afternoon, June 18, following reports of an incident. Police said they dealt with a "dispute between neighbours."
Police said the armed deployment had now left the area although some officers remained. A man was arrested at the scene, near the junction between Hard Lane and Speakman Road.

There were several police cars at the scene according to local reports.
